So I got to mom's just before 10. Had to wait for her to get dressed. Sheesh. We went to Family Dollar, Kohl's, Famous Footwear, Ross, Bed Bath & Beyond, Payless, a local bead store & K-Mart. We were looking for me tennis shoes to wear to work since my current ones have about had it. That's what I wanted for xmas. lol So...this shopping expedition was my fault!! *smirks* Ever since I moved out of mom's house last year, anytime we happen to shop together, she won't let me pay for stuff. Those trips are few & far between (those who know how much I *hate* shopping will get that! lol) In between those trips...she manages to buy stuff & give it to me. Household stuff, kitty stuff, random stuff. lol *shrugs* So...true to form...today...she wouldn't let me pay for my air freshener, TP & chewing gum...LMAO! I had mentioned just before Thanksgiving that I'd been craving green bean casserole (so was glad she'd made some) but soon realized I couldn't make it anyway cuz I don't have a casserole dish. lol Well...now I have a casserole dish! We got down to our almost last chance for finding shoes...before I found some I liked...hahaha!!
After an hour & a half of wandering around, looking at shoes...I needed to text Kat (she will be the only one that understands why). Midway through typing & backspacing & retyping...I got a text from her. *grins* 1st one of the day. *Exhales* She's not ok. I'm not either, for that matter. But I told her the only thing I could think of...so she'd somehow understand...& I left it at that.
At the bead store...I got the overwhelming urge to start wearing my bracelet again. The one I had mom specially make for me over 2 years ago. I remember the colors but I don't remember what it looks like. I will hafta find it...
Before we finished shopping, I ended up with a package of bag clips ( I currently have 4 that I use & always need more! lol) & a new set of silverware to add to my existing set. I can't help it that I'm practical! *snorts* This is stuff I needed. What good is perfume or stupid knick knack stuff anyway?! Never mind that perfume makes me sneeze & break out! ;-p The only other thing I truly need, at the moment, is a new purse. The one I use is...3 years old...??...& is really starting to fall apart. Tax refund...I'll find a new one! ;-p
We finally got back to the house & then spent some time looking at what she's done so far on the store's website. I'm really liking the look of it! :D I've got to still do our staff bios/picks & then go through the current info pages...adding/deleting whatever. We talked about a couple of changes (since I've changed my mind about some things)...made an addition to the logo & discussed the layout some more. By this time, I was dragging ass...so I went home.
I wasn't home but just a few minutes before I laid down for a nap! Just couldn't take it anymore! :/
After I woke up, I went to Publix. Now that I have a casserole dish...I need the ingredients for green bean casserole! *laughs*
No phone call...so I had to distract myself. Dinner. Movie.
I started the patches this morning. Was ok most of the day...til about an hour ago. I'm trying to resist the urge to go buy a pack of cigs. I'm distressed. That always makes it worse! :/ And I'm thinking...another pack won't kill me! CVS is open. It's 3 minutes down the road. And tomorrow is a new day...for the patches. Bleh. Off I go...
