Went back to work today. Yay. *snorts* Met Maia. The new girl. I'll hold my judgment for a little while. But I wasn't expecting her to be just a BABY!! haha She's maybe 20. Heh. Oh, well...
Other than that, I spoke to Tom for a bit. He's wanting me to generalize our inventory. The dude has lost his mind! The SOLE reason for getting the inventory system was so we'd KNOW what we had in stock!! Seriously?! Whatever. Guess he'll be useless & we'll just hafta feel our way through this process...

Mini Vacation: Day 4
Up at 10:45 this morning. By noon, I was outside doing touch ups on the paint job on my bed. Mom & Bud got here about 1:30. It took us quite a while to put this thing together & get it maneuvered around so that the ceiling fan wouldn't be hitting it. By the time we got it set up...we realized something absolutely HORRIBLE. This freaking bed is a QUEEN size!! All of my bedding is FULL size!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! To change everything to Queen to fit the bed would cost more money. And there's no way to rig it so that it'll work with my Full size mattress & frame. FML!! So...I've emailed the people I bought it from. My next day off, I'll make the bed, take a pic & put it on Craigslist. *sighs* I was SO in love with this thing, too!! :-(
So that was my entire day. Ugh. I'm just sick over it...

Mini Vacation: Day 3
Mom texted me at like 1:15 am & asked if I was up. Yeah. She was outside! lol...WTF?! So I go out there. She's all KINDS of pissed off! They had a poker game at their house & Scott...their dumbass roommate, has been starting shit with her since early afternoon. They ended up really getting into it at the game. Finally, she went All In, knowing the guy she was up against was gonna beat her...(basically fed him her chips)...& left the house at 11 pm. She'd just been driving around since then! She stayed here til 3 am. Ugh...
I didn't sleep for shit last night! Was awake every hour or so. And was dreaming all freaking night! Nothing interesting, mind you! lol But about doing inventory at the store! Seriously?! haha I'm probably just over a week or so from actually starting to scan ISBNs & putting them into Anthology. I'm well aware of the massive task before us but I think my brain is still trying to fine tune the process. ;-p Finally got up at 10:45.
My eye issue...??...uh huh...WELL...I've now transferred it (by constantly rubbing my freaking eyes!) to my top right eyelid! Fuck me!! ARGH!!! It's not near as painful as the left one was but...being on my top eyelid, I can barely open that eye. *sighs*
By 12:30 pm, I was hauling my bed out to the patio. It took me a couple of hours to sand it & then less than a couple of hours to paint it. I ended up having to run to Ace when I was almost through for another can of paint. I was covered in black paint splatter but I was afraid they wouldn't be open tomorrow. ;-) So...4 hours out in the sun (I'd gotten to the point of seeing stars cuz my blood sugar dropped from being so dehydrated out there), I was (& still have quite a bit on me) covered in black paint...my fingernails are black...I'm SO Goth! *giggles* 2 1/2 cans of paint, sunburnt (but not really bad) but the worst is that I'm aching all over...haha!! I noticed a little later that there are several spots on a few of the bed pieces (this is a full size canopy bed: headboard, footboard, 4 posters & 4 rails) where the green is showing through. I'll do touch ups in the morning. Hopefully Mom will come over & help me put it together finally. ;-) I can't wait to see it up! :D
It was all I could do to get a bath & make dinner. Been laying down ever since. lol Watching movies, struggling to stay awake. haha

Mini Vacation: Day 2
Slept til 10:30 this morning! WooHoo!! Guess I won't mention that I was up til 5 am though...*laughs*
Went up to the store around 1 pm. The new door is freaking awesome!! LOL Got my new key. We talked about my eye & June's work schedule. I even worked a little bit...LMAO! Meh...I can't help it! ;-p Hit Wal-Mart & Publix there & then came home. Manda showed up shortly after I got home so she's the 1st "outsider" to see the house "in progress"...lol! Mom & Bud were already here when I got here. Bud finished grouting the living room. So I can start arranging in there in the next few days, I think! :D
Manda wants me to go with the fam to the beach tomorrow. I hate going on weekends as it is, never mind on a HOLIDAY weekend! ARGH!! But I'll decide when she calls tomorrow & see how awake I am at that time...lol.
The other night, Katy drug me into this Poly group on FB. I've been quite enjoying it!! I've actually already friended 3 of the group members so far. I've come to find out that being a shithead is simply a human condition!! Unbalanced people simply all act alike...no matter their lifestyle choices. It is quite common among the Selfish & Entitled to treat others like crap & expect it to not be a big deal. Not that I'd wish anyone to go through this kind of relationship...but...MAN...I feel sooo relieved hearing others' experiences!! I'm not crazy, I don't ask for the impossible & it is absolutely ESSENTIAL to walk away when someone refuses to communicate...REGARDLESS of how much you care about them. It is a losing battle...not worth the heartache. I will be grateful to Katy for bringing me into this realm of knowledge & experience for many years to come!! ;-)

OH CRAP!!!
So I tried opening a new checking account the other day & got denied, right? So I just went online to request a report of what could possibly be on my record to cause that. Umm...yeah...I'm quite a bit freaked out right now!! After putting in all of my info, the form won't submit cuz it says my driver's license is INVALID!! WTF?!?! The only thing that could cause that would be that stupid wreck in WA. I was in a rental car, State Farm had prematurely cancelled my insurance (& I didn't know that til AFTER the wreck!). I tried for a freaking YEAR to get ahold of somebody at Enterprise to find out what I needed to do!! I either sat on hold for an hour+ or I got transferred back & forth between people that would tell me nothing! OMFG...
I can request my DMV record for $25 from OK. But 1st, I'm going to see if Todd can run it without rousing any suspicions...*sighs* REALLY?! This is NOT something I need to be dealing with!! :-( Going to Washington was MOST CERTAINLY my biggest mistake EVER!!!

Mini Vacation: Day 1
Woke up at 8 am this morning...like I needed to go to work or something! *snorts* By 10:30, I was at Publix, doing some grocery shopping. But the sole reason for even going...I ended up NOT getting!! Cuz I couldn't find it in the store...lol. Not in the same spot as my regular Publix...& not my other guess either...unless I just couldn't see it.
I REALLY like these! lol And I only get them once a month. It's almost like it's my special little dinner treat! ;-p Anything else that I prepare for dinner is just whatever but I actually look forward to pay day so I can get these for dinner. haha It's the little things in life, dude!! :D I have to go to the store tomorrow to get a new key (our front door got replaced today finally) so unless I go get it, I won't be able to open Tue morning...lol! So I'll stop by my regular Publix & get my treat. hehehe Probably going to go see Manda while I'm in town, too.
So I got home from shopping, unloaded my stuff, started the dishwasher & sat down to watch a movie. Bud came over just before 2, I think. Mom wasn't too far behind him. She'd gone to get ant killer. When they were here yesterday, we'd noticed a handful of ants in my room but couldn't figure out where they're coming from. Around 8:30 pm last night, they'd totally INFESTED my babies' food bowl...ARGH!!! I was so mad & grossed out!! :/ And that's when I saw for myself they were coming from under the baseboards. Even though they've been SEALED...wow! By the time I got that mess cleaned up, I dunno if they got ahold of an ant or something...but BOTH of them...Sheba 1st & then Bastian...got sick! She NEVER gets sick so that caused alarm! :/ Not puking really but just bile...both of them. Bizarre. Grr. So Mom scattered ant killer all along the base of the house outside & some patches in the yard. Bud spent his time grouting in the dining area & down the hall. Just before 4, we went & got pizza from a local shop down the street. It was pretty good...even though I'm not a fan of Supreme (I have to pick off the bell peppers...lol). Mom left just before 5. They have a poker game at their house tonight. I laid down about 5:15. If you know anything about my sleep habits, you'll know that me falling asleep while Bud was still making noise, working on tile, was RARE! lol I have to have silence to sleep. But that's just how sleepy I was! ;-)
Woke up 3 hours later, it's still kinda half-ass storming (that started this afternoon). It's rained a bit but mostly it's just thundering & lightning. Kinda odd. o.0 But...it has definitely jacked up my allergies! They're kicking my ass at the moment! Bleh! My ear is basically back to normal. My eye...is getting better. Not near as swollen as last night & essentially doesn't throb & burn anymore. Yay! :-)
I'm going to take a bath & watch another movie or 2...*chuckles*

Mini Vacation!
I woke up at 5:40 am this morning. lol That's what I get for going to bed at 10 pm! ;-p
When I was basically awake, I noticed my left eye was really bugging me. It'd actually started last night. Felt like something was in it, etc....so I rubbed it a bit, of course, but really didn't pay much attention to it. I have bad allergies & rub my eyes almost constantly anyway...it's just a part of life. lol Anyway so it's really bothering me so I go look in the mirror. Under my lower lid is really puffy so I start messing with it & can feel a bump in there. On accident, while rubbing it, I pulled the lid down enough that I could see...THREE small pus pockets on the inside! EWW!!! WTF?! So of course I had to Google it. I think it's probably a sty but the ones on the insides of the lids are pretty stubborn & difficult to get rid of...aside from going to a Dr & having him lance it under sterile conditions. Umm...yeah...no thanks! ;-p LOL So not only is my left ear still fucked up but now my left eye is disgusting! Really?! *sighs*
I got up too early & got bored early so I ended up getting to work early (7:45!) haha I had to show off my newest ailment to everyone...lol. Karen told me how to massage my sinuses to try & break up anything that might be in there causing trouble. Claire had a fit over my eye & told Cindy I needed to go home & rest...LMAO! Cindy ended up conceding...it was very slow & all 3 of them were there for the day anyway. So before I left at 1 pm, Cindy gave me a $100 bill & told me to take care of my eye. ;-p Claire had run home just before then to get antibiotic eye drops to use, too. I will do the hot compress treatment, too & if it's not better by next Tue, I might go back to Urgent Care...ugh!!
I left & went to the bank to cash my check. Then I tried to open a checking account there. They do that Chex Smart thingy...& something popped up on mine. WTF?! She called off a name that absolutely doesn't sound familiar at all...& besides, I haven't had any of those kinds of issues in YEARS...so I have no idea!! She gave me a number to call to find out what it is. I'll call tomorrow...
Then I went to CVS to get 2 liter Cokes (on sale), some saline solution for my eye in case those pus things pop & some ear ache drops. Then I went to get gas & air up my front 2 tires (the old ones still)...yeah, I'm gonna have the same issues with these that I had with the others. *sighs* Gotta replace them SOON!! FFS. lol
Got home & Mom & Bud were here. Mom tortured the kids for a while by being in the same room with them & petting them...*laughs & snorts* They're both so ridiculous! ;-p She brought a blackberry bush that she's going to plant out back. I have to tend to it for her & I'll pick them when they're ripe but I don't eat blackberries...lol. Bud finished the tile in the living room & dining area. :-) He's got the 2nd bathroom done (aside from the edges) & down the hall...about to go into one of the other bedrooms. Slowly it's all coming together. ;-) I put the ear drops in & almost immediately my ear felt better. And it's STILL ok...& that was...over 4 hrs ago! YAY! :D
Then the 3 of us went to eat Mexican food. Yum! I came home & they went to their house. Now...I'm going to take a bath & deal with my eye for a bit. Tu-Tu-Tuesday!
I knew last night was going to be a late night...JUST because I didn't even get home til 9:30! Ha! So, yeah, I went to bed at midnight. However, I woke up at 1:30 with a massive earache & toothache! UGH!! I think it was my ear causing the teeth to hurt...on the same side & all. Same ear I got the ear plug stuck in, too. So, of course, my 1st fear was that a piece got stuck in there again...but none of it was missing. Dunno! But it hurt all damn day! Semi-closed up, too...my hearing is muffled & the pain is radiating down my neck. Not fun...
Anyway, so I'm opening & I leave my house (early even). The main highway I get on to get from here to there...is backed up way back to where I turn onto it at! WTF?! I can see a cop car with flashing lights way ahead. I'm guessing an accident. It took me 10 minutes to get 300'! So I made it to the 1st turn around & thought...hmm...the main street I live off of MUST go somewhere down that way in which I need to go so that I can bypass it, right?! hahaha So I go a little ways down &...uhh...NOPE! It's a dead end! LOL However, just before it dead ends there's a street to my left that is familiar to me, it'd at least get a little ways down towards where I need to go. Well, it would if I had a 4x4 & could get through the foot of sand that is the 1st long bit of road! OMFG. LMAO!! Whatever. I had GPS on, too, but it kept trying to take me my normal route. *snorts* I gave up & went back my normal way & just fought the traffic. ;-p Yes, it was an accident...at the intersection of that sand-trap road & my main highway...AHAHAHA!! Whatever...
So I got to work finally...& only 15 minutes later than my normal time but that meant I had to rush to get open by 9. Bleh. I hate rushing! ;-p Cindy got there a few minutes after 9. Was just me & her today. I spent the 1st part of the morning doing inventory for today's order. As I was checking in the order that came in today, I got pulled away several times to help her. About halfway through processing them & putting them out, this girl from Humana came in. I knew Lori had screwed up her dental insurance somehow...don't really know the details...I tried to stay as far removed from that as I could...lol. Kelli has had the dental for a long time, too & she'd left a check last week for her payment but apparently Cindy had deleted her from the policy when she went down to hourly so...uh oh...now she's gotta fix that, too...so she just had the girl come in so they could fix all of that. Next thing I knew, she's telling me to go talk to her cuz...she's putting me on there, too...& she'll pay the monthly Premium as part of my salary! haha Cool! Maybe I'll eventually get my freaking teeth fixed! ;-p
After that was all taken care of, I told her I wanted to take Friday & Saturday off to make up for the 2 days off I missed over the last 2 weeks...so I'd then have Fri-Mon off...we're closed on Sundays & this Monday for Memorial Day. :D YAY!! I get to rest! ;-)
She ended up kicking me out at 4:30...said she could handle closing by herself cuz it had slowed down & all. I wanted to argue with her...but I was hurting, grumpy & miserable...oh, yeah, have I mentioned TIRED?! haha She didn't hafta tell me twice...*dies laughing*
I dropped by Manda's on my way home. She'd ordered 2 graphic novels way back in December for Dan & they came in today. Along with Nalini Singh's Kiss of Snow. It's not on sale til the 31st...but it's Manda! ;-p She gets it as soon as it comes in regardless of sale date...lol. I was actually supposed to have dinner with them again tonight...but I just feel so crappy...I wasn't in the mood to hang out. :/ Manda made the comment that my ear MAY be my sinuses trying to get infected & it's just fucking everything up in its path. Hmm...that'd make more sense than a random earache...cuz I HAVE had the sinus headache for about a week now. Bleh...
Got home at 5 & Bud was here, laying some more tile. He's almost got the living room done. ;-)
I walked into my room & the 1st thing I saw was several of my books from my bookcase on the floor...as I knelt down to pick them up, I discovered THIS:

Bud left at 6. I fixed dinner after he left & started a movie. Started getting texts from Cindy. I think she hired some girl. lol I dunno...chick came in the store & they talked about employment somehow. She's young, Stetson student, English Major, very well spoken, has worked at Borders before & Cindy said she got a "hippy" vibe from her & she also has piercings & tattoos...AHAHAHA!! Said she can start next Tue! ;-) I sure hope so...we NEED the help! Sheesh. And I mean someone that actually HAS a brain! ;-p About 8:30, Mom called & asked if I was awake. I said yeah. She said she was gonna drive by...I asked if she was gonna stop...*chuckles*. I couldn't help it...she left herself open for that! ;-p She'd been at Poker so she was nearby. She was here within 5 minutes actually. She'd been shopping again! *snorts* She got a couple of rugs for the kitchen for in front of the stove & sink & one for the front door outside. I really like the design on that one! :-) It's cool. lol How stupid...get excited over a rug. *snorts* Whatever...I'm drugged up at this point..leave me alone! LOL But she also had something else. A canopy drape for my bed!! Black...not lace...but...uhh...what's the word? Ehh...I dunno...it's a sheer fabric! ;-p That'll be AWESOME if I ever get my bed put together...LMAO! She also got a towel rack for the bathroom door. Mine doesn't fit my bathroom door very well...but it works fine for the 2nd bathroom. So the hook is for mine. She took my dirty laundry with her & finally left a little after 9.
When I got settled back down, I noticed I had a text from Cindy. LOL...I get a surprise day off tomorrow!! :D Kelli was scheduled for tomorrow. She works Wednesdays so Cindy can get a day off. Well, Cindy was planning on working. And, actually, she'd told me to come in late...so I could sleep in some. Kelli & I had gone back & forth a bit in text...I was trying to talk her out of going in tomorrow since she really didn't need to. She finally said she'd text Cindy. Well, apparently she & Cindy decided since Kelli was ok to come in tomorrow...I could just relax! ;-p Little co-conspirators...those 2! haha Anyway...but again...she didn't hafta tell me twice! ;-p But I DO find it funny...that in order for me to get a day off, Cindy brings in the ENTIRE crew to help her! AHAHAHA She called Lori, Claire & Savannah in, too, for tomorrow (they all 3 were scheduled off). It's just funny... ;-p

I knew Lori had screwed up her dental insurance somehow...don't really know the details...I tried to stay as far removed from that as I could...lol. Kelli has had the dental for a long time, too & she'd left a check last week for her payment but apparently Cindy had deleted her from the policy when she went down to hourly so...uh oh...now she's gotta fix that, too...so she just had the girl come in so they could fix all of that. Next thing I knew, she's telling me to go talk to her cuz...she's putting me on there, too...& she'll pay the monthly Premium as part of my salary! haha Cool! Maybe I'll eventually get my freaking teeth fixed! ;-p
After that was all taken care of, I told her I wanted to take Friday & Saturday off to make up for the 2 days off I missed over the last 2 weeks...so I'd then have Fri-Mon off...we're closed on Sundays & this Monday for Memorial Day. :D YAY!! I get to rest! ;-)
She ended up kicking me out at 4:30...said she could handle closing by herself cuz it had slowed down & all. I wanted to argue with her...but I was hurting, grumpy & miserable...oh, yeah, have I mentioned TIRED?! haha She didn't hafta tell me twice...*dies laughing*
I dropped by Manda's on my way home. She'd ordered 2 graphic novels way back in December for Dan & they came in today. Along with Nalini Singh's Kiss of Snow. It's not on sale til the 31st...but it's Manda! ;-p She gets it as soon as it comes in regardless of sale date...lol. I was actually supposed to have dinner with them again tonight...but I just feel so crappy...I wasn't in the mood to hang out. :/ Manda made the comment that my ear MAY be my sinuses trying to get infected & it's just fucking everything up in its path. Hmm...that'd make more sense than a random earache...cuz I HAVE had the sinus headache for about a week now. Bleh...
Got home at 5 & Bud was here, laying some more tile. He's almost got the living room done. ;-)
I walked into my room & the 1st thing I saw was several of my books from my bookcase on the floor...as I knelt down to pick them up, I discovered THIS:

Bud left at 6. I fixed dinner after he left & started a movie. Started getting texts from Cindy. I think she hired some girl. lol I dunno...chick came in the store & they talked about employment somehow. She's young, Stetson student, English Major, very well spoken, has worked at Borders before & Cindy said she got a "hippy" vibe from her & she also has piercings & tattoos...AHAHAHA!! Said she can start next Tue! ;-) I sure hope so...we NEED the help! Sheesh. And I mean someone that actually HAS a brain! ;-p About 8:30, Mom called & asked if I was awake. I said yeah. She said she was gonna drive by...I asked if she was gonna stop...*chuckles*. I couldn't help it...she left herself open for that! ;-p She'd been at Poker so she was nearby. She was here within 5 minutes actually. She'd been shopping again! *snorts* She got a couple of rugs for the kitchen for in front of the stove & sink & one for the front door outside. I really like the design on that one! :-) It's cool. lol How stupid...get excited over a rug. *snorts* Whatever...I'm drugged up at this point..leave me alone! LOL But she also had something else. A canopy drape for my bed!! Black...not lace...but...uhh...what's the word? Ehh...I dunno...it's a sheer fabric! ;-p That'll be AWESOME if I ever get my bed put together...LMAO! She also got a towel rack for the bathroom door. Mine doesn't fit my bathroom door very well...but it works fine for the 2nd bathroom. So the hook is for mine. She took my dirty laundry with her & finally left a little after 9.
When I got settled back down, I noticed I had a text from Cindy. LOL...I get a surprise day off tomorrow!! :D Kelli was scheduled for tomorrow. She works Wednesdays so Cindy can get a day off. Well, Cindy was planning on working. And, actually, she'd told me to come in late...so I could sleep in some. Kelli & I had gone back & forth a bit in text...I was trying to talk her out of going in tomorrow since she really didn't need to. She finally said she'd text Cindy. Well, apparently she & Cindy decided since Kelli was ok to come in tomorrow...I could just relax! ;-p Little co-conspirators...those 2! haha Anyway...but again...she didn't hafta tell me twice! ;-p But I DO find it funny...that in order for me to get a day off, Cindy brings in the ENTIRE crew to help her! AHAHAHA She called Lori, Claire & Savannah in, too, for tomorrow (they all 3 were scheduled off). It's just funny... ;-p

Manic...Saturday?! o.0
I dunno...I kept thinking today was Saturday. lol *shrugs* I haven't had a day off in...forever...so the days are just running amok! ;-p
I opened. Cindy got there about 8:45. I got her filled in on everything she needed to look at/do/take care of. I was supposed to be at Karen's at 9:15 (& she actually called to check on me...lol) but I didn't get there til 9:30 (cuz of settling Cindy into a workable groove with her Frankenstein-esque peg leg...lol. It's not REALLY a peg leg but she can't bend it at all so...you get the idea! ;-p
Karen & I watched several of the training videos. I must say...they were super cheesy. They're webinars recorded of a woman going through stills on a Power Point type thing (though they were extremely amateurish--one of them...her dog was barking in the background while she talked!) Seriously?! lol BUT...they did point a couple of facets out to us. One was how to create the departments, etc before starting to input inventory. The 2nd was a question raised about our hook up to Ingram. So it was worth it. AND...her 2 adorable kitties were my 2 best friends most of the time I was there! ;-)
I got back to work at 12:15. I created a rough-draft semblance of a plan-o-gram for our departments & stuff & shot off an email about the Ingram issue. I also got an email back from Tom telling me the missing codecs to run the videos at the store & installed it on the 2 main computers. The laptop still won't run them. No idea!! Grr!! ;-p I haven't tried mine yet. The rest of the day was spent taking care of customers, doing inventory for tomorrow's order, etc. I wasn't expecting Cindy to stay all day! But she, Claire & I closed.
Cindy has her follow-up dr appointment at 8:45 tomorrow morning & then she'll come to work. It'll just be me & her (unless Karen shows up). Kelli might come in during the afternoon so I can leave early. Cindy can't close by herself yet. She can't move around enough to bring the carts in from outside & do all the walking to turn off lights & a/c in all the rooms.
After work, I went to Manda's for dinner. She made stuffed pork tenderloin, asparagus gratin & red potatoes. :-) I was really enjoying the pork til I bit down on something crunchy (gristle or bone--no idea) but I had to force myself to finish it after that. lol I have a MASSIVE gag reflex when it comes to meat & those 2 issues! ;-p Me, her & Dan sat out on the patio for a while after dinner, just shooting the shit. Dan made a comment that he really likes it when I come over. lol I'm his favorite friend of Amanda's...hahahahahaha! And he misses me when I don't come around often enough! *snickers* I thought it was CUTE! ;-)
But I hafta say...my...DUH...moment of the evening was THIS:

This is her 16 year old son & his birthday present truck. CAN YOU SAY REDNECK MUCH?!?! OMFG...are you kidding me?! Bad enough that truck doesn't just SCREAM redneck...but for a 16 year old?! Just...wow...lol!! I can't even begin to tell you how GLAD I am that I was able to escape that place! I'd seriously slit my wrists if I ever had to live there again...

A Working Sunday...Sorta
Woke up at 8 am. Unloaded the dishwasher. Messed around on FB. Headed up to the store to meet with Karen. Well, actually, IHOP...across the street but it was PACKED! So I parked in our parking lot & texted her. We agreed to meet downtown. I then texted Cindy. I didn't realize she was meeting with us, too. lol As I was leaving the store, she passed me! ;-p By the time I got to Firehouse, she was already there & had hobbled down the sidewalk a bit...& Karen pulled in behind me...haha! We walked down to The Brickhouse to eat. And talk. Mostly about Anthology but Cindy & I veered off into talking about store business & Claire. Heh. The highlight of lunch was when a bee/wasp/winged stingy critter flew down the front of her shirt into her bra & she NEARLY totally exposed herself trying to get it out! ROFL!! I'm sure the old man sitting across from us quite enjoyed that! ;-p Karen & I just laughed. hehehe
Cindy headed home & Karen & I went to the store. The whole purpose was to see if we could play the training videos on her laptop since we can't play them on any of the store computers. Well, we couldn't get her laptop hooked up to the wireless internet. Grr. lol So we were only there for like an hour. Had 3 or 4 phone calls (that I didn't answer) & 2 people stopped & tried to get in. lol Sorry about their luck! *snorts*
Bud showed up here at the house around 2:30 to cut some more tile. I read a little & started a movie. He left at 5.
I'll open tomorrow. Cindy will be there at 9. She is to plant her ass up at the registers & NOT walk around! Claire will be there at 10. I'm going to Karen's house at 9:15 to watch some of these videos. I tried watching them on my laptop but it just buffers...won't actually play. *sighs* I sent an email to our Rep to see if he has any suggestions for us. Only being able to watch them at Karen's house is NOT feasible! lol I'll go back to the store around noon, I imagine, & then close.
I've been doing a lot of thinking the last few days. I think...really...the dream I had the other night is what triggered it all. I was having the "nightmares" because I was paranoid & utterly terrified of a "possible" situation. I was terrified because...me, MYSELF...I was unsure of how I'd react...if the situation were to actually present itself. I was terrified of giving in, falling for the lines, forgiving her, & letting her back into my world, only to further torture me. I was...AM...TERRIFIED of that possibility! Since January...probably even started in late November...& built itself up in December...but DEFINITELY showed itself starting in January...I've been depressed, attempting to numb myself from the pain, loneliness, fear, stress...of her refusing to listen or talk to me. So much so that...more than my "usual"...I've opted to smoke to calm my nerves...I've wanted to drink to float above & beyond what I was feeling on the inside...I've made conscious efforts to have "coffee" as much as possible to put a haze over the emotions & suffocate them...but the biggest & most I've done is to eat. Eat & eat & eat! Like...all the time! Every spare moment, I'd find something to munch on. And I realized that I was doing this way back in January. But as long as I could concentrate on nibbling on something...I wasn't thinking about the current situation. And that's the one thing that has gotten to me the most. I've gained 20+ pounds since January! I'm at a weight I haven't been at for...10 years? And it's that "magic" number that usually shocks me into doing something about it. lol Anyway...the dream the other night proved to me that I DO know who I am, what I want/don't want, that I AM strong enough to do the right thing, that she has ZERO control over me anymore...but, most of all, it made me realize that I'm no longer depressed & trying to mask it. Of course, I still think about it. I probably will for years to come. I'll never forget how she made me feel. I'll never forget how deeply I cared about her. I'll never forget how hopeless I felt every time she assumed something & refused to speak to me about it. And I realized that I'm no longer feeling the need to prove anything to her. I don't give a flying fuck if she EVER realizes I didn't say the things she thought I did. Let her think whatever. She's no longer important to me...in ANY aspect. She helped create a big part of who I am today...she'll be the Human Stain in my life that is the guardian to how I interact with people from here on out...she's the Warning Sign for everybody else. I will never trust another human being the way I trusted her & that's really pretty sad but it is what it is. But she's also the one who taught me how to Respect MYSELF. And because of that...the diet resumes tomorrow & the rest of the self-loathing & destructive acts will go back to my normal range. I don't hate myself anymore cuz of her...I have no need to self-destruct...lol.
My life is good the way it is becoming. WITHOUT her a part of it. I'm actually pretty proud of how it looks so far! ;-) It feels uber NICE!!

The World Didn't End!
I thought I was over the nightmares (since it's been 3 or 4 days since I've had one) but apparently not. Had another one last night. Though...this one turned out differently. Positively. So...really...I can't even call that one a nightmare cuz it was refreshing...not tormenting! ;-p
So I didn't exactly sleep in as planned! ;-p I was up at 8 am. I slept over 8 hours but...geez...I felt JUST as worn out when I got up as I did when I went to bed! :/ Ugh. I simply cannot get any down time. I'm thinking when Cindy is back to 100%, I'm just gonna take 3 or 4 days & chill out. Let her & Claire figure shit out on their own! lol I ate the last of Mom's chocolate cake for breakfast...in celebration of The Rapture today! ;-p So...yeah...I got to work at 10:15...lol. Karen was there all day but she mostly worked on the Anthology stuff. We'd originally kinda planned to go out to Cindy's tomorrow to watch some of the training videos together. But they aren't something we can download & save...& Cindy has dial-up, out there in the boonies...& it can't handle running those videos! So we scratched that idea. When she's back & we're all 3 free, we'll do it there at the store. Savannah came in around 4 & Kelli left. Kelli had been planning on us doing a Girl's Night Out tonight but her lunch from Wendy's made her sick so that got cancelled, too. Just after I kicked Savannah out at 6 (cuz she wouldn't stop chattering...lol!), a girl we'd special ordered a book for showed up. I'd already balanced the credit card terminal & the register but she had exact change in cash so rather than get stuck with the book (cuz she's moved out of the area), I'll ring it up on Monday. Sheesh. lol
Unfortunately...The Rapture didn't take place today & we're all still here...UGH! *snorts* I was looking forward to some of the world's most annoying people to disappear, dammit!! *dies laughing*
Got home, made dinner, watched a movie, started the dishwasher, took a bath...now I'm gonna read a bit before sleep. Meeting Karen at IHOP at 11 tomorrow & then we're gonna go to the store & put our heads together (in PEACE) on this Anthology stuff. I think Cindy may show up there. She said she has to come to town to get a new leg brace. And...she's apparently going to be there for a bit on Monday cuz Mike & his little buddy are gonna be there, fixing the fence out back. I know she's stir-crazy but I think it's still too soon! *sighs* But...she's stubborn...*shrugs*

Hit the Wall!
Couldn't get to sleep last night. Body & mind were both still trying to go! Ugh. I'm over-tired. Exhausted. Running on empty. lol I finally fell asleep around 2 am, after starting Black Dust Mambo by Adrian Phoenix that Manda has been bugging me to read. ;-p I got to Chapter 8! lol
Opened this morning. Karen came in around 9 but she wasn't really there to work. She was on her way out to Cindy's house. They are going to move sometime this summer...somewhere closer to where her hubby works...so he can cut his commute down. And since she's just about finished with the Kids section, she wants to help me take on Anthology as a project. Just the part about figuring out how to effectively input our inventory. If she wants to help, I'm all for it! I simply DO NOT have the time that is needed to devote to it. Ack. :/ I can't even find time to check email...never mind commit the kind of time & concentration this system is taking to implement! :/
Lori & Claire came in at 10-ish. It was pretty dead for the most part so Claire was just putting flats away. UPS got there with our order just after noon. I called Kelli. She got herself some lunch & came on over. I then went & checked in the 3 boxes for the order. It was pretty straightforward so it didn't take long. I then brought it all out to Kelli & Claire to pencil, sticker & put away. lol I then started on the magazines. About halfway through doing them...I hit my wall! I was the Walking Dead. Zombie personified. At 4:15, I'd gotten everything put out, the old ones stripped & decided I was gonna go. Besides...I still had to stop at the bank before going home! Haven't been able to go all week!! hahaha Yeah, the teller knows us...so when I walked in...she was curious. Told her about Cindy's knee surgery & that being down a person, I simply never could escape to come in. ;-p
Finally got home. Bud was here, working on the tile in the living room some more. He also had the futon in the truck. I came in my room & just laid down. I didn't actually go to sleep...I just kinda drifted in & out of consciousness. He was making too much noise, cutting tile, for me to actually sleep. lol Mom got here a little after 6. They were going to Poker tonight (of course!)
Made some dinner after they left & started a movie. After dinner, took a bath. Now I'm gonna finish the movie & possibly read some more before sleep. I'm gonna go in late tomorrow, too. Try to sleep in like I did yesterday... ;-)

And since she's just about finished with the Kids section, she wants to help me take on Anthology as a project. Just the part about figuring out how to effectively input our inventory. If she wants to help, I'm all for it! I simply DO NOT have the time that is needed to devote to it. Ack. :/ I can't even find time to check email...never mind commit the kind of time & concentration this system is taking to implement! :/
Lori & Claire came in at 10-ish. It was pretty dead for the most part so Claire was just putting flats away. UPS got there with our order just after noon. I called Kelli. She got herself some lunch & came on over. I then went & checked in the 3 boxes for the order. It was pretty straightforward so it didn't take long. I then brought it all out to Kelli & Claire to pencil, sticker & put away. lol I then started on the magazines. About halfway through doing them...I hit my wall! I was the Walking Dead. Zombie personified. At 4:15, I'd gotten everything put out, the old ones stripped & decided I was gonna go. Besides...I still had to stop at the bank before going home! Haven't been able to go all week!! hahaha Yeah, the teller knows us...so when I walked in...she was curious. Told her about Cindy's knee surgery & that being down a person, I simply never could escape to come in. ;-p
Finally got home. Bud was here, working on the tile in the living room some more. He also had the futon in the truck. I came in my room & just laid down. I didn't actually go to sleep...I just kinda drifted in & out of consciousness. He was making too much noise, cutting tile, for me to actually sleep. lol Mom got here a little after 6. They were going to Poker tonight (of course!)
Made some dinner after they left & started a movie. After dinner, took a bath. Now I'm gonna finish the movie & possibly read some more before sleep. I'm gonna go in late tomorrow, too. Try to sleep in like I did yesterday... ;-)

Chaotic Partial Day...
I set no alarm for this morning! :D 1st woke up at 8 am to pee but went back to sleep til 10:30...lol. Got to work at noon. This was previously planned, FYI. haha The worst part is...that Kelli was whining before I even got there! *snorts* I can work by myself or be "in charge" of the minions...but she can't?! SERIOUSLY?! ROFL...*rolls eyes*...gimme a freaking break! ;-p
Kelli left at 2-ish pm to take John to the airport. Karen left about 2:30. I still had Claire & Lori. And...I dunno why...but the day seemed really...chaotic! o.0 Kelli walked me through doing the books for the last 3 days & making a deposit before she left (will take that tomorrow since I couldn't leave just Claire & Lori there...LMAO!) After that, I spent the rest of the day doing inventory to create tomorrow's order. Argh! That was rough...lots of stuff...but, again, I'm only reordering what we sold today & yesterday & what we've discovered we don't have in stock that we should have. Wow. lol
I talked to Cindy about midday. She finally got a bath today...lol! I had to pick on her about that, of course! ;-p
Just before closing, I realized why I'm so freaking tired. I haven't really had a day off this entire month! Except last Sunday...& I got bored halfway through the day & couldn't even nap! Bleh. lol
Grabbed dinner on the way home. Ate while I did FB. Did kitty litter & took a bath. Attempted a movie & unpacked a couple of boxes of my books & put them in my bookcase. Ditched the movie about 30 minutes into it. haha I think it's bedtime now. Opening tomorrow but if the order comes in early enough, I'm gonna try to get out of there before 4:30! Cross your fingers that UPS comes before noon! ;-)

Book Club Day...
I opened this morning. No Karen, Claire or Lori scheduled for today. It was basically dead...til just after 11. Kelli came in at noon & brought lunch (KFC). We got a little hectic from there on out.
Ali came to the store & I gave her the grand tour. Manda met us at the store at 6. We 3 then went to Publix to pick up goodies for Book Club & then headed over to Karen's. Was a light night...had fruits, veggies & daiquiris. Then we played a couple of games of Left-Right-Center. Ali won the 1st game! :-) I think she liked it pretty well & everyone liked her. Amanda left after the 1st game but texted me soon after...saying Ali was cool!! hahaha :D Karen gave her the 1st 3 books in Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series, to start getting her ready for the next one that's coming out the end of this month...lol. She'll have 3 or 4 more to go before she gets up to that one though. ;-p
Got home at 9 pm, took a bath & had a piece of cake. Mom had left a chocolate cake here yesterday but I didn't know anything about it til this morning...when she asked me if I'd seen it...LMAO. Then I watched the 1st part of The Starter Wife mini-series.
Bud has got the living room tiled now (except the edges). :-)
Now I'm headed to bed in my comfy cloud...*giggles*. Working tomorrow but I'm just gonna go in whenever I get there. NOT setting the alarm! :D

New Addition...
Work was freaking RIDICULOUS! lol Kelli opened. Karen was there at 9. I got there at 10. When I walked in, Kelli immediately told me she'd already had a DAY. We continued to have that DAY, too! Neither one of us stopped...at all. She helped me process the order & get it put out (mostly) before she had to leave at 2:30. Normally, neither one of us would leave someone "in the lurch"...meaning, leaving while the store was packed. But she had no choice...had to leave to take Savannah to Orlando. Karen left shortly after she did. It was then just me. I only had one person to be an ass about me being the only one there. Most people are generally ok about waiting their turn. Claire came in at 4. I was still hopping. lol She called Mike to check on Cindy. They were just then leaving to go home---so, yes, she did have trouble coming out of the anesthesia (like she said she usually does). And she was actually back asleep, riding in the car. Claire told him to have her call us tomorrow to check in. I did inventory til close. Tomorrow's order is gonna be big, too. But I'm basically only ordering in what I've sold...lol...*shrugs*.
Around 5, Ali texted. Ali...originally Erin from Craigslist, that I was talking to about being my roomie...lol. Erin was her fake Craigslist name...LOL! ;-p She found a better place to stay (not that she could've moved in here anyway!). She got into town yesterday finally. She wanted to meet up for dinner. Neither one of us know this area but I knew where she was & I knew Olive Garden was near there...if nothing else...lol. So we met there! :-) Dinner was yum...it's been many, many years since I've eaten at Olive Garden. haha She's gonna come to the store tomorrow when she gets off work & go to Book Club with me. YAY...I've got a new friend in my midst!! :D hehehehe
I got home to find Mom has been busy today. ;-p My bed frame is done & I now have an actual bed! LOL Not just a matress on the floor...*snorts*. PLUS...my feather pillowtop came in & she put that on, too. OMG!!! It's soooooo SOFTTTTTTT!!! hahaha I'm NEVER gonna wanna get outta bed! :D She also brought a 3 drawer chest & my laundry that she'd washed. lol So I unloaded the dishwasher from last night, then hung up laundry, unpacked folded clothes that go into the chest...finally took a bath! HA...I'm beat! ;-) Ready for night night on my feather bed...*giggles* I won't be up much longer...I'm pretty sure of it. :-)

Bored?!
It's been...literally...WEEKS...since I've had an actual day OFF, with nothing pressing to do! lol By myself. And I freaking got BORED?! LMAO! WTF?! It's like...I've forgotten how to just entertain myself & veg out. lol
Woke up at 9. Did FB. Then kitty litter (FYI...I think this tile & kitty litter are gonna make me crazy...lol). Then I organized my closet (mostly--still need a chest of drawers). Then I unpacked & placed the rest of the stuff that I possibly could. That didn't really take long either since there isn't a whole lot left that I can do yet.
I watched a movie Claire & Cindy insisted that I needed to see...Fandango...from 1985...lol. Whatever. It was ok. Not as great as they made it out to be. ;-p By 3 pm, I was so sleepy & bored out of my skull. Tried to take a nap. That didn't exactly work so I was back up at 3:45.
Dinner & then watched Weeds the rest of the evening. Talked to Mama for a bit on the phone. Now I'm just idling til I get sleepy enough that I think I'll fall asleep. haha

TIREsome...
I got the store opened. Had Karen clear off the table for Dr Gaffney. Set up the water bottles, cookies, napkins & coffee station. Did some inventory. By the time Kelli & Savannah got there, we really started hopping. Was kinda bizarre...right after Kelli came in, Karen decided we had enough coverage & she'd already put away her box of books & there wasn't really much else for her to do so she decided she'd just take off. Karen & Kelli had a bit of a run in when Karen 1st started. Kelli & I both got the vibe that she got offended in some way or didn't want to be there cuz of Kelli but we can't figure out WHY! o.0 Dunno. Find out Monday, I guess. Dr Gaffney got there just before 11 & got herself all set up. We had quite a bit of traffic! AMAZING since there was also some sort of festival going on downtown...lol. I'm almost wondering if it didn't start til this afternoon cuz around 2 pm, it just died. haha Around 11:30, I went to Wal-Mart for them to change my 2 front tires. The guy & girl that were both checking me in confirmed that my tire was indeed CUT. Wow. I texted Cindy & told her that. She still wants me to file a police report. I don't want to. I still have my OK license & if I make a police report, they'll want my license & then I'll get fined (or whatever) for not changing to FL license within 10 days...so NO THANKS!! lol Anyway, Todd is aware of the situation & he's already set up a patrol. It's not like they'd catch whoever did it anyway! What's the point?! Savannah came up & picked me up after I dropped my car off. I've never ridden with a teen driver before...ROFL! Dude...that's some scary shit right there!!! AHAHAHAHA!!!
I texted Mom to come get me whenever after 2:30. She showed up a bit later & I left at 3:30. We went to Wal-Mart. Roamed around for a while, of course...lol. It started storming just after we got inside. Finally, we went & picked up my car & left. She followed me to Subway & then home via the truck route (she was unaware of that little trick to bypass downtown...haha!!) We ate & the 2 of them left at 6 to go to a poker game.
By 6:30, I was half asleep so I ended up taking a little power nap til 8. I'm up but I can't guarantee that I'm AWAKE! ;-p I should really do some work & stuff in here...but I really just don't wanna! *snorts* I'm exhausted & next week is gonna be a BITCH! I deserve some down time! ;-) Think I'll just watch the remaining disc I have of the last episodes of Season 2 of True Blood & then...who knows?! Maybe just go to sleep early! :D

A FLAT Day!
Woke up to an email from Mom this morning that she'd found one of her kitties, Tiger, dead on the screened in patio. :-( That pretty much set the tone for it being a suck-ass day...
Work itself was ok. UPS came late (1 pm) but luckily it was a semi-small order (2 boxes) with no screw ups & only 1 box of magazines. I had it all done by 4:30. In the middle of doing it, Mom texted that the parts we were missing for my bed came in & she suggested dinner at IHOP & then putting the bed together. I wasn't really feeling well (headache...sinuses & that was making my teeth hurt--there's a storm brewing somewhere nearby!) so I said I could reschedule with Stacy (was supposed to be going over there for dinner). I really only offered cuz I got the impression she was still upset over Tiger & just wanted company. But she said she was just gonna stay home. They were supposed to have poker tonight anyway. Bud was going but she didn't want to.
At 2, I couldn't stand the toothache anymore so I ran to the health food store to get clove oil since mine was at home & that's no longer just 5 minutes away...lol. I was already feeling better by the time I got back to the store.
Cindy left at 5. We'd decided that we'd try to close early if nobody was in the store. Well, instead, we got inundated with people. Ain't that the way?? lol So we got out of there at 6. I sat in the car for a minute & Claire & Lori left. When I went to back out, I immediately knew I had a FLAT TIRE!! Yes...the SAME stupid one from a few months ago! FML!! I called Stacy to tell her I wasn't gonna make it tonight after all. :/ Then I called Mom. My train of thought on even calling her at all...was if Bud was still at my house, he was closer & could come get me & take me home. My immediate plan was to leave the car at the store & then she could bring me to work tomorrow & I'd call around & get someone to fix the damn thing. Finally get a new tire like I should've done the last time. Bud didn't answer his phone so she called me back...all mad & said she'd be there soon. *sighs* Why is she getting mad at ME?! I didn't fucken DO anything! Fuck! Whatever. So she gets there at 7. Had stopped wherever & got Fix-A-Flat. It wasn't doing a damn thing. So she's all mad & nasty & ordering me to go inside & find out which tire places near there are still open, etc. Thinking I need to try to DRIVE the car somewhere nearby, if possible. Are you fucken insane?! WHY would I purposefully drive on the rim & fuck even MORE shit up?! REALLY?! Whatever. I went in the store, turned on the comp..everything near was closed already. Except one that closed at 9. Then she's all snotty & shit, asking me where Amanda was. Umm...in Washington DC! She's all like...I thought you were having dinner with her tonight?? No...Stacy! Ok, where's Stacy?! Down the street. She has COMPANY! HELLO?! So then what about Kelli's husband?? ARGH. Yeah...see...I would've called him 1st! But stupid me, thought I could just easily get taken home tonight & brought to work tomorrow so I could handle the situation during business hours...when I could actually get something done! *SIGHS* Plus, it was thundering & lighting & starting to drizzle. I'm pissed at this point. I just want her to leave. I can handle this shit on my own. So I'm trying to just get her to leave. And she's bitching about going to the poker game after all but 1st game has already started & she can't get in til 2nd game...& doesn't want to just sit there & wait for the 2nd game. I called Kelli. At 4 am, Sheba decided she wanted to be lovey dovey & play, etc. When I finally woke up, I then had to pee. I knew my toilet in my bathroom was down finally...but he's attempted it 4x already & I'd gotten no news that it was functional yet. So I automatically went to the 2nd bathroom. Sheba snuck out when I opened the door. By the time I got the hall light on, she panicked & took off running! UGH!! So I ran after her & that's when I discovered the garage door was open! FML!!! There was NO way for me to find her in there. It's packed FULL of crap!! *sighs*
So after 45 minutes of trying to find her, I gave up & got dressed. Got gas & went to the apt. The PLAN was to start packing/cleaning some til I had to go to work. That didn't last long. By 7 am I was taking a power nap. Lol.
Opened the store & Cindy got there about 9:30. I left at 9:45. Went back to the apt & busted my ass til 1 pm! But I'm finally DONE there! ;). Gave Judy her key back.
Got home & got the car unpacked. Mom & Bud were here. After a bit, she decided she wanted to go shopping. Gawd!! Lol. I'm so totally shopped out! *snorts* But we did get some more cute stuff! :p. Plus she was showing me how to get around town here. Haha. Not that I really remember but enough that I can go out on my own & figure it out fairly easily. ;)
We got some dinner. She then started cleaning some of the crap in the garage in hopes we could find Sheba. It worked! So she's back in the bedroom with me & Bastian now. ;). I got my Wireless hooked up finally so...YAY...my phone works again!! :D. Bud finished laying the tile in the dining area mostly (except for the edges). They finally left at 7:15. I put a load of dishes in the dishwasher to do a test run. It works!! :). Then I outfitted my bathroom mostly (except for the shower curtains). I have the curved shower rod & it has to be bolted into the walls so it's not just something I can pop up there. :/. Then I took a bath & am getting ready for a movie.
Stacy just called. Invited me over tomorrow night. Mark & his new boyfriend are gonna be there too. :). I miss seeing Mark! He's so freaking cute!! ;). I just absolutely adore my gay boys!! :D
Ok movie time before I just decide to go to sleep instead! :p

Good Ending!
Cindy was at work for a while. She opened. I went in at 10 (9:45...lol). At 12:30, she & Lori went to a lady's house to buy books. Claire had come in to be there while nobody else would be. Lori & Cindy got back around 2:30 & then Cindy left at 3 (since it was actually supposed to be her day off today!).
After work, me, Cindy, Claire & Book Club Karen all met at Chili's & had appetizers, drinks & chatter. It was actually quite fun...& yes, I'm still buzzing! ;-p
Now it's bath time & (hopefully) soon...bedtime. The kids were in the carrier in their room when I got home tonight. :-( I've brought them in my room already & they're out & about now.
I'm off tomorrow but I'm going in to open. Cindy has an early dentist appointment. I'll leave whenever she gets there. Then I'll go to the apartment to finish packing my old desktop computer, my remaining clothes & then clean. Then I'll TOTALLY be out of there! ;-)

Kitchen Works!
Today at work was pretty quiet, in general. But the day seemed to just DRAG! lol However, we DID have a bit of excitement! About mid-day, we noticed 4 cops in our parking lot, taking this little scrawny guy into custody. We had no clue what was going on. About halfway through the chaos, I got a call from a lady at a business just up the street from us. Said she was passing by & saw the commotion. Proceeded to tell me that guy had come in her business about an hour before. She was busy with customers but said he'd wanted to fill out a job application. Something about him gave her the creeps...said her gut was telling her he wanted to rob her. She put him off long enough that he finally just left. About an hour after everyone dispersed from our premises, Cindy called Enterprise back. She'd talked to them this morning about getting a rental car while her car is being fixed. They'd been supposed to call her back within the hour. Enterprise is just up the street from us, too. She gets a call back a little while later...& the whole day just kinda fell into place! The girl she was talking to this morning was in the office by herself (why she was gonna hafta call Cindy back about locating a vehicle for her). This scrawny guy had gone in there & attempted to rob her! There was no cash on the premises so he beat her up a bit & took her purse! The girl that called me earlier...to tell me about him being in her place...she's right NEXT DOOR to Enterprise!! He was just basically making his way down the Blvd, hitting up businesses. o.0 In all of the chaos, the girl had forgotten to tell anyone about Cindy's needs...therefore, no one even knew to call her back! lol HOLY CRAP!! Sheesh...
Anyway...I left at 4:30, grabbed some dinner & headed HOME! :-) Got here & Mom & Bud were still here. The kids are still in the carrier. They haven't eaten or anything. Won't come out. :-( BUT...my kitchen is now functional!! YAY!! :-) I can get more of a regular "routine" going now. ;-)
NOW...it's wayyyy past bath time!! Then a movie, I guess. I wanna go to sleep sooo bad...lol! ;-p

There are foreign noises EVERYWHERE!! Lol. I hafta use my ear plugs. :p. I just won't make them as small as I did last night...haha!

Monday from Hell: Part 2
Hmm...ok...where did I leave off? Oh, yeah...packed up my clothes & random pieces of whatever, shoes & then sat there for a minute. Got up & decided to go back to Urgent Care...it's now 2:30 pm.
Get there & wait. And wait some more. Get called back, tell my story of my ear plug. Woman thinks I'm crazy but she uses the little scope thingy & says she can see it way down in my ear canal. Doc comes in. Repeat ear plug story. He looks with the scope thingy...but he doesn't believe me that it's an ear plug. He says it looks like plastic. Umm...yes, dude...it's silicone! A soft, rubbery, pliable gooey substance. At this point, I'm wishing I'd brought the damn package with me like I'd planned on doing but forgot. Ugh. So he pokes with long scissor-kinda thingys. Only gets slivers to come out...like I was getting myself...& what Cindy was getting. So Doc calls in assistant...to hold my ear. Well, he still can't get it so he decides he'll flush it. Of course, I tense up a little now cuz the last time I got that flush...I had an ear infection & I damn near wanted to kill that man for the agony he put me through! LOL But this one wasn't bad at all...just a tad bit of pressure. 2 goes at it & he got it to come loose & he grabbed it. YAY! So an hour, several disbelieving people, 1/8" piece of silicone & $134 later...I left Urgent Care. Ugh!!
I had another hour to kill so I went & roamed about in Big Lots. Then went back to work. Cindy left at 5 finally cuz Mike was late in picking her up (of course!) Claire & I shut down at 5:30! Nobody was there or had been there since before Cindy left. And I had shit I needed to do! LOL
I get home & pack the car with all the crap I'd packed earlier. Gather up trash & recycling & take it out to the curb. It's 7 pm now & STLL no sign of Sheba at all! ARGH! So I give up & go get some dinner. Come back, eat & watch Weeds. Still no Sheba at 8:30. I'm fully aggravated by this point & exhausted. FINALLY, she comes out at 9:15 pm! I grab her, stick her in the carrier. Not so bad. Then I grab Bastian & as I'm trying to get him in the carrier, she pushes her way out & I lose BOTH of them! Crap!! LOL They both go under the bed. I finally get ahold of her again & put her in the carrier. Go back & get him & put him in the carrier. Yay...Victory...FINALLY! I grab my laptop, some bottles of water & my Coke & them & GO!! haha We got here a few minutes after 10 pm. Can I call it or what?! ;-p *smirks*
So I get their room set up for them. Neither of them want to come OUT of the carrier now. Seriously?! LMAO!! They don't like me much atm. :/ Oh, well. They'll get used to it soon enough. But I'm going to try to keep them barricaded in their room most of the time, til the floors get done anyway. I don't want them loose in here with all this crap all over the place!
Anyway, so then I hardwired my laptop to the modem! It's 11 pm...I'm sooo NOT messing with setting up Wireless right now! *snorts* Then I went took a long, hot soak in the tub! :D Do you have any idea how long it's been since I've gotten to take a bath (instead of a shower)?! Umm...Nov '09! You don't realize how much you can miss something til you don't have the opportunity to have it anymore! ;-) Drug myself out of the tub & made up my bed (half-assed anyway--after all, it's just a mattress on the floor--no need to get fancy! LOL) & it's now 12:45 am!! I need to sleep. It's been a terribly fucken LOOOONG day!! ;-p And it's finally OVER. And I am happy. In my new home. With real a/c. And pretty floors (some of it anyway) & QUIET (no cars racing up & down the street...skidding at the stop sign that they don't see in time)...lol.

Monday from Hell: Part 1
OMG!!
Ok, 1st of all, I finally fell asleep around 3-ish am & was up at 7 am. Normally I sleep til 9 when I'm closing but I'd decided that I wanted to get up early, finish packing & possibly nab the kids before Sheba goes into hiding for the day & get them over to the house & then get to work "whenever". That way, when I get off tonight, I can just go to my NEW HOME! :D It was a good plan. Umm...uh huh...
So soon after I get up, I realize I have a problem. I have been using these soft silicone earplugs for about a year now. No problems whatsoever! Well, I opened a new pack last night...not really noticing that they are smaller than the ones I've been using. o.0 You can see this coming, can't you?! lol Yeah, well, the one in my left ear is STUCK! I mean like totally against my eardrum or something! Poked & prodded with Q-Tips & tweezers. No luck except to remove itty bitty pieces at a time. I can't hear. I mean, I can but not well. Everything is muffled, etc. So I'm still digging at this thing at 8:25 when I look at my phone & notice I have voicemail & texts. Cindy has been in an accident on her way to the store...can I open?! CRAP! So I drop everything & hurriedly get dressed & get out the door. But just before I leave, I have to pee & GUESS WHAT?! Yes...Nixon has come to visit! Are you kidding me?! A couple weeks EARLY...AND my stuff is at the house!! ARGH!!! Luckily, I had something in my purse! Sheesh!
I get to the store at 10 minutes til 9 & get open on time. Claire goes to pick up Cindy & they get there a little after 10. Cindy is ok...her car, however, is NOT! lol Within a few minutes, the Glass Repair guys show up. A few weeks ago when we had that nasty little storm, it did some damage to our big windows so they've now come to fix them. We now have this big gaping hole in the side of our building, about 6 sweaty guys making hellacious noises with drills & saws, etc, the bookcases that were in front of the main window is now in the middle of the aisle so nobody can really get in our door too easily. Just...UGH!!! Got our order placed finally...amongst all the noise & upheaval. Claire & Cindy are freaking out about my ear...Claire goes home to get hydrogen peroxide & tweezers...hoping they can dissolve it or at least loosen it up some to get it out of there. No luck. So they make me leave at 1 to go to Urgent Care. ARGH...I DESPISE DOCTORS. Go in there. He's at lunch right now...but nurse doesn't think he'll be able to do anything about it if nobody can even see the damn thing...but regardless, it'll be $75 to see him! FML! I left. lol I'll use more peroxide today & tomorrow...if I can't get it by then, I'll go back to him. *sighs*
But right now...I'm gonna pack my clothes & stuff. At least that much will be done by the time I get back home tonight. Gotta go back up to the store at 4:30 so Cindy can leave to go to Jackie's (daughter-in-law) birthday party. *sighs*

Nightmares...
I think I know another reason why I'm still awake. It's why I was attempting to divert my mind (with the new layout & all). The last few days, I've been having nightmares. Yes, they're truly nightmares cuz I wake from them with my heart in my throat, out of breath...& actually SCARED...& in near tears. There are about 3 versions of it...none of them any good at all. But the worst part about them...is I also have waking nightmares! Meaning...during the day or whatever, whenever I'm awake & my brain/body goes idle...they creep into my mind. I've caught myself having the same exact physical reactions to them awake as I do when asleep. :/ I won't detail them out here due to "spying eyes"...but I think they'll go away by June. Just sayin'...lol. The "threat" will be past by then & my subconscious can relax. Pathetic, huh? *sighs*

Elusive Sleep...
I'm sleepy, tired & NOT hurting (thanks to Lortab!) but STILL can't get to sleep cuz it's too hot in here! I should've turned the a/c on before I made that last car load to the house. :/ I'm well aware that it doesn't cool down very quickly up here! :/ But, at that point, I still wasn't sure where I was "sleeping" tonight. Ugh! And, in order for things to go smoothly tomorrow evening, I actually need to get up early to pack. Double ugh! To make matters worse...I'm REALLY discombobulated here...lol! None of my stuff is here & all of my "routines" are jacked! ;-p What to do...what to do...heh!
Am I Dead Yet?!
The answer is: PRETTY DAMN CLOSE!! lol OMG.
Woke up at 9:15 this morning & was packing by 10. 2 carloads over to the house today. Which...included the big stuff (coffee table, 2 end tables & book case). No, none of them come apart & YES, I carried them all down the stairs by myself! ACK!! I'm paying for that right NOW. :/ None of that shit was LIGHT, yo! lol Actually got a helluva lot accomplished today. But...not quite enough to actually be able to stay the night over there tonight. :/
1st of all, my bed frame is missing the corner pieces. Seriously?! So...for now...I'll sleep on the mattress on the floor (in MY room!!) I can now start putting stuff in there. :-) When we get the pieces (or a new frame), we'll set it up the way it's supposed to go. Got all of the kitchen stuff unpacked & put away in the kitchen so that cleared out a bunch of boxes! Still have to wait a couple of days before I can fully use the kitchen though.
In order for me to stay over there tonight...I would've had to get my clothes, bathroom stuff & the kids over there. Didn't get that far today. :/ But those are basically the last things I've got to do so it's ok! :-) Sheba is gonna take some work on capturing. I'll attempt that tomorrow night when I get off work. And I have to close so I imagine I won't get over to the house til 9 or 10 pm. And probably won't mess with the internet setup at all once I finally get there. lol
Once I get my clothes, bathroom stuff & them out of here...I still have to clean & then the very last load will be taking all of the cleaning supplies home. I figure I'll TOTALLY be out of here by Wednesday! :D
I'd forgotten how freaking dark it is in here without my lamps (yes, like an idiot, I took them to the house today!)...it'll be even worse once the sun goes down! So...I'm done for tonight. I need a shower in the worst way & will be taking a Lortab tonight...lol.
But I'm almost there...yayyyyyyy!!! *chuckles*

Packing Day...
I only slept about 4 hours last night. :/ Mind wouldn't calm down & body was aching...ugh! So, I was ready for a nap 5 minutes after I woke up this morning! lol
I went in to work & opened. Cindy got there about 9:30. I left at 10:15. Came home, did kitty litter & dishes & then started packing boxes again. I think I've about decided to pack a box at a time & then immediately put it in the car. This going up & down these freaking stairs 30 times in a row is for the birds!! LOL ;-p
By 12:15, I was crashing hard. :/ Kept going til 1 pm though. Then laid down...but didn't fall asleep til around 2. Woke up at 2:45 & was awake til after 3 & then slept til 4:30. Got up & started packing again til 6:30 pm, when Manda texted that dinner was almost ready...hehehehe. Put the last box I was working on in the car & headed to her house.
Dinner was YUM...as usual! ;-) Ham, homemade mac & cheese, green beans & brussel sprouts. Was just me, her & the boys. After we ate, I got Chewbaca & let him sit on my shoulder for a while. lol That's Dan's bird. I almost never go over there without playing with him!! I don't like Lemonade so much (that's Manda's bird)...he's an asshole...lol! We chatted for a bit & by the time she got the boys in the tub, I left so I could go unload the car at the house.
On the way to the house, I stopped by Publix & picked up some cupcakes. Gonna give those & a card to Mom tomorrow. :-)
Got the car unloaded & then went around taking pics of each room (that's all basically still in complete shambles...LOL!) & posted them on FB. Some of them double posted cuz of stupid T-Mobile...lol. BUT...he's got the kitchen tile DONE now! :D So...I dunno...now he'll have to seal my bedroom/bathroom tile, put the toilet back on, then seal the kitchen soon...then I can fully use them...YAY!! I think we're gonna go ahead & set my bed up in the 3rd bedroom for now...just so I can sleep there. The 2nd bathroom is still usable til I can use mine. I'm hoping to be able to stay over there tomorrow night. We'll see...
9 pm & I'm finally home & almost sorta kinda idle...lol. I'm gonna go take a MUCH anticipated shower, throw on a movie & continue packing boxes for a while. Not taking anything down to the car tonight though...lol.
I'm getting there...slowly but surely! ;-)
I went in to work & opened. Cindy got there about 9:30. I left at 10:15. Came home, did kitty litter & dishes & then started packing boxes again. I think I've about decided to pack a box at a time & then immediately put it in the car. This going up & down these freaking stairs 30 times in a row is for the birds!! LOL ;-p
By 12:15, I was crashing hard. :/ Kept going til 1 pm though. Then laid down...but didn't fall asleep til around 2. Woke up at 2:45 & was awake til after 3 & then slept til 4:30. Got up & started packing again til 6:30 pm, when Manda texted that dinner was almost ready...hehehehe. Put the last box I was working on in the car & headed to her house.
Dinner was YUM...as usual! ;-) Ham, homemade mac & cheese, green beans & brussel sprouts. Was just me, her & the boys. After we ate, I got Chewbaca & let him sit on my shoulder for a while. lol That's Dan's bird. I almost never go over there without playing with him!! I don't like Lemonade so much (that's Manda's bird)...he's an asshole...lol! We chatted for a bit & by the time she got the boys in the tub, I left so I could go unload the car at the house.
On the way to the house, I stopped by Publix & picked up some cupcakes. Gonna give those & a card to Mom tomorrow. :-)
Got the car unloaded & then went around taking pics of each room (that's all basically still in complete shambles...LOL!) & posted them on FB. Some of them double posted cuz of stupid T-Mobile...lol. BUT...he's got the kitchen tile DONE now! :D So...I dunno...now he'll have to seal my bedroom/bathroom tile, put the toilet back on, then seal the kitchen soon...then I can fully use them...YAY!! Google Yourself!
Have you ever Googled yourself?! LOL You find out the strangest things!!! ;-p Like...how many ME's there are in the state of FL...several being in the same cities I've lived in! HA! How bizarre would it be to run into "yourself" in the town you live in?! LMAO. Yeah...I'm loopy...STFU! *snorts*
Something else occurred to me last night. It's amazing how your brains works. Like...I've noticed in the last week how...I sleep through the night without my subconscious waking me up to check my phone for messages. lol I STILL have trouble going to sleep...I always will, I imagine...but I no longer wake up multiple times during the night. o.0 That's just pretty freaking cool! :D I was SO unbelievably "attached"...that my need/want for contact actually would wake my ass up to check!! STUPID!!
Anyway, speaking of sleep...guess I should attempt it now! ;-p

**Medical Update**
Went to Manda's to take her book & 2 cooking mags I swiped for her. Mama hooked me up!! hehehehe Got a few hits of "coffee"...a couple of Flexerall & a couple of Lortabs. lol Hmm...maybe now I can get through the next few days of this moving shit without hurting so bad! *smirks* But as for tonight, thanks to "coffee"...I think I'm done working! ;-p *crashes*

22 trips up & down the stairs, packing the car last night. I'm MORE THAN HURTING at this point! lol And THIS was just the 1st load to be going...OMG...kill me now! hahaha
I dunno why...but all freaking day today I've thought it was MONDAY! Ack. lol Didn't leave work til 4:15...argh!! Then went to the house to unload the car. It looks like I won't be IN the house to stay...til early next week sometime! *sighs* He still has to seal the tile in my bedroom/bathroom. :-( You have to wait a certain amount of time after it's set to seal it & then wait another certain amount of time after it's sealed before you can "use" it. :-(

Yet ANOTHER Long Day of Shopping!!!
QUIT STALKING MY BLOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You couldn't read it before without bitching me out about it & you refuse to talk to me or let me talk to you so just FUCKEN STOP!!!!
*exhales* Now...that I got that outta my system...lol...
Mom & I had agreed last night to meet at the new house at 8:30 am this morning to head to Palm Coast. Though, I wasn't sure why...cuz that was an hour & a half earlier than we needed to leave by...lol. So I got to the house at 8:15. At 8:50, I texted her. She was still at HOME! lol OMG. Said cuz I said 8:30 was too early! She could've REPLIED back! LMAO. So she finally got there about 9:30, in Bud's truck. She was too paranoid about the bed fitting into her car. *snorts* We unloaded all of the shit I've been toting around in my trunk for the last 2 weeks into the 2nd bedroom. Then got ready to leave. About that time, her mood turned sour. The one I absolutely CANNOT stand!! Ugh!! Bitch-bitch-moan-whine-pissy-bitch-bitch-nasty! One of the tires had a wobble to it so she freaked out & said we couldn't take the truck all the way to Palm Coat (it's an hour drive) but we were gonna go to Wal-Mart in Deltona to pick up my mattress & frame then drop the truck at her house for Bud to deal with it. I texted Patti (who I was getting the bed from in Palm Coast) & asked if I could reschedule--trouble with the truck. *sighs* So, at this point, Mom's in a foul mood & I just wanna go back home. By the time we hit I-4, the tire seemed ok so she decided we'd go on to Palm Coast after all. I texted Patti back. Ugh. I HATE looking like an idiot! :/ Halfway up, she decided she was hungry & stopped at Burger King. When we got back on the road, the truck was driving funny...wasn't shifting gears & sounded like it was gonna explode. She then noticed that the light was on that indicates we're hauling a trailer. She called Bud. Apparently, when we got back in after Burger King, she'd put the damn thing in Overdrive. FFS. o.0 We finally get to the house. I already knew just her hubby, Ken, was gonna be there. He was outside, doing yard work, when we pulled up. An older gentleman, probably in his 60s or so. SUPER nice!! But...when Mom gets in THIS mood of her's...her racist side comes out in full force, too! PART of the reason I just wanna get away from her when she's like this. No, Ken is NOT white...Northern accent...but he's NOT white. Italian, Puerto Rican, Mexican, Cuban...not sure...no tell-tale accent so I couldn't place him. He's dark-skinned, salt & pepper hair. No clue. But before I could even open the door, she's all mouthing off about him not being white. FML. Anyway, like I said, he was SUPER nice!! Explained how to put the bed back together & loaded it into the truck for us. Then off we went. The only problem with the bed...it's not BLACK, like it looked in the pics on Craigslist!! :-( It is a forest green. *sighs* It won't go with the decor, I don't LIKE green to begin with...so I'm gonna hafta paint the damn thing. *sighs* She decided she wanted to stop at JC Penney's in Daytona on the way home cuz she'd seen a bedding set online this morning that she really liked. I couldn't see the pic on my phone but maybe they'd have it in the store. Fine. *sighs* I wasn't planning on this being an ALL DAY thing! I've got shit to do! Ugh. So we go in Penney's. Yes, they had it but I like the one I have better. Then we found a bathroom set that we liked (cheetah print). But...better to keep looking, just in case. Amanda had told me to try Burlington Coat Factory. So we left the mall & went to Burlington. They had COMPLETE crap there!! Yikes! :-p BUT...found 2 super cute prints that I loved! One was a giraffe & the other was a lioness & cub. She put them back...we'll get them later...if we figure out where they'll go. FFS!! In the hall or the living room or my bedroom...I'd said 3 different times. Ugh!! So she's bitching about this being a wasted trip & telling me to tell Manda to stop giving me suggestions. ARGH!!!! Back to the mall we go. Went in Sears & then Dillard's. Found a brown zebra stripe bath set that we liked. Got it. Then headed back towards Wal-Mart in Deltona. We picked up a nice Gardenia bush for outside my bedroom window, I got kitty food then just for the hell of it...we looked at the bathroom stuff. LOL!! Found the PERFECT set!!! hahahaha It's just wavy stripes but it has all of the colors in it that's being used in the theme! ;-p PLUS...I got the shower curtain, liner, wash cloth, hand towel, bath sheet & rug for LESS than the shower curtain & rug at Dillard's!! *snorts* Then we went back to the new house in Orange City. Bud was there, working on tile. He's made his way down the hall & into the kitchen now! :D We got everything brought inside & that's when we discovered the frame for my bed is the WRONG one! It's supposed to be just a free standing frame with wire criss-crosses for the base. What we got was a regular frame with wood slats! So that set her off all over again! MY GAWD!!! JUST LET ME GET HOME!!! lolol We finally left & I followed her to Ace Hardware. Got copies of the house keys made & got paint for the bed. She went home from there & so did I...opposite directions! *smirks* Orange City separates Deltona & DeLand. ;-p lol
On the way home, at 5 pm, I grabbed some dinner, cuz I'm just freaking dead at this point. :/ Don't wanna cook & STILL need to pack shit! Ack. Now I'm here...did FB already. I'm gonna pack the car with what boxes I currently have & when I get off tomorrow, I'll drop them at the house before coming home...as long as my new key works! AHAHAHA!! We'll find out... ;-p

Hump Day...
Me & Kelli today. We stayed hopping pretty much all day. Our Rep from Ingram dropped in...we both told him about the issues we have with our stuff being packed wrong & getting damaged items & missing stickers/packing lists, etc. He told us that they have a general non-complaint rate....& we more than triple that percentage on our own. The bigwigs at Ingram think we're being petty, etc...just trying to get more discounts & shit. REALLY?! You know what was the FUNNIEST about the whole situation...?!?! Less than 30 minutes after he left, we received today's order. It encompassed ALL THREE of our complaints that we have!!!!! I took 3 separate pics & emailed them to him! I just checked her email. He thanked me for the pics I sent him...& then 5 minutes later, he forwarded me an email from the VP...stating that what we received is absolutely against their shipping regulations & the matter will be handled immediately. HA! *struts for a moment* I so RAWK! ;-p Don't fucken DARE tell me I'm trying to pull a fast one over on somebody or am being petty...or being dishonest!! Given half a chance, I'll prove to you that if I'm nothing...I'm FUCKEN HONEST...always!! *smiles*
Cindy is having surgery on her knee the 17th. It's about TIME but...bleh...!! :/ I'll be working open to close every day...til she gets back (possibly a week but probably should be longer!) Kelli will come in but not every day & not full days. Just mostly on order days & long enough for me to get the order processed. Ack...
Mom showed up at the store about 20 minutes before I was gonna leave. She'd been shopping. LOL She found my bedding set! ;-) She'd actually gotten 2 but I instantaneously made my choice! :D The 1st was an aqua color. Very plain. A design stitched into the fabric but solid aqua. It was pretty! Girly...but pretty...haha. The OTHER one...the one I chose...HAHA...is black/brown/beige zebra/leopard/cheetah print! SCORE!!! :D So, yes, it's final...the ENTIRE house will be a jungle theme...lol!!
Mom & I are going to Palm Coast in the morning to pick up my bed I found on Craigslist. :D She also said that Bud finished the grout in my bedroom/bathroom...sooo...I get to start unloading stuff over there tomorrow, too!! :D He's also gonna give me back $100 of the rent I paid to him & keep the rate lower as long as he's still over there most every day, working. No complaints about that!! ;-)
Went over to Manda's for my birthday dinner. Country Fried Steak...YUM!!! :D Then we had some "coffee"...*giggles*...& now I'm home. Gonna throw in a movie & pack some before bed. ;-) It's ALL starting to roll now...I'm getting excited!! hehehehehehe

Blah Tuesday...
Cindy didn't come in til 10:30-ish or so. After a little while, she handed me some cash & a blank Hello Kitty key...said it was my Birthday Bonus & the key was to get my New House key made onto! lol :-) Too funny...cuz I'd just been thinking yesterday that I wanted a "design" key for my house key. Don't really care about the garage or mail box key so much! ;-p COOL! hehehehe It didn't seem like I got much accomplished today. Wrote up today's order, weeded out the new Paranormals & checked in the arriving order. There were a couple of glitches with it but nothing major. I finally left at 4:15...at my 8 hr mark. *snorts* Stopped by CVS on the way home & then when I got here, I wanted to do absolutely NOTHING except eat & sleep! ;-p So I didn't!! Watched a movie while I had dinner. I'll pack a box or 2 before my shower now...just so I can say I actually got something accomplished!
