Birthday Weekend...

It's been a good weekend. I mean, better than normal anyways! Yesterday was my birthday & I haven't "celebrated" my birthday for a few years now. I didn't plan on celebrating this one either but it all just kinda took over! lol I didn't hide my birthdate soon enough on FB so I got a crapload of birthday wishes from friends all day (some even started on Fri night!). I ended up not having to work after all so, instead, I went to the beach!! It was super crowded! But, then again, it WAS Saturday! lol I had to drive down the beach for about 10 minutes before I found a parking space! That's quite a ways when you're going 10 mph. ;-p But as far as it being crowded by people, not so much. Which was weird...lol. I pretty much had a pretty big vacant area all to myself! A horseshoe crab washed ashore & caused a big commotion for a while. He was HUGE! Probably about the size of a dinner plate. Assholes kept poking him & stuff. It was pissing me off. :/ Finally a guy put him back out into the water. Poor thing. I laid down & just relaxed for a while. So relaxed, in fact, that I caught myself dozing off! LOL That's when I knew I had to get up & get going. I went & waded in the water for a bit. It was fabulous! Then I headed home.

Got home, showered, ate & laid down to wait for Amanda. I...uhh...dozed off! lol She finally called & I went to The Abbey to hang with her for a bit & have a birthday drink. It was nice. Came back home & Bastian & I watched a movie. lol

Got up this morning & basically did nothing but watch a couple of movies til 5 pm when I headed over to my mom's for birthday dinner, cake & to watch The Blind Side. Good movie but wasn't what I was expecting. It didn't make me cry either! *shock* Now I'm home & should be in bed soon. It's been a helluva week that ended decently.
